Such an exceptional and thoughtful gesture, that it warrants a post on its own.
At a wedding ceremony on Friday, with it being over the Easter weekend, the bride gave each child a very special gift. Smaller children received a beautiful Velveteen Rabbit, with a storybook and an Easter egg. Older children got carefully selected toys that were matched to detail their different personalities.
Tracy, the bride, very generously included a parcel for my boys, which included three very special bunnies, easter eggs and a storybook.
Thank you so, so, so very much! We read the first chapter yesterday and the picture below is of Oliver with his bunny, listening attentively to me reading the story of the Velveteen Rabbit.

Wow, that's very special. What beautiful rabbits
(04.12.09 @ 06:14 AM)Oh, that is the sweetest thing!. I'd love to say I would have done that if I'd had any children at my wedding (I don't think I had a guest under the age of 20) but I would never have thought of something so lovely!
Funny story: I drove right past you outside M & S on Friday without knowing it was you! I would have stopped to say hello (and distract you from your bundu-bashing) if I'd known. :-)
