About Me

I am a mother of three boys (three boys, being punished for my sins!) and have been a fan of photography for years. I started shooting weddings seriously about five years ago. With the arrival of my twins, I decided to reduce my working hours in order to spend more time at home with my boys. Using photography to make up for the loss of income was a natural progression.

This is where you will be able to catch regular excerpts of what I am up to...

Just one frame from Sonia's maternity session. Have I mentioned just how much I love silhouettes?

Well, what I totally love about images like this is that it can be printed onto an A2 canvas and then displayed in your home as a piece of art. Nobody would be any the wiser that it's actually you in the image.

Just another fantastic reason why I prefer maternity sessions in the comfort of someone's own home ;-).

In fact, here's ample proof that studios aren't always the preserve of all camera work, since I'm confident there are few (if any) production rooms that include such a dreamy, stain-glass door to create a photo of this nature.  It certainly has created the most consummate and personal image for Britt.

I love it when my clients come up with unique and creative ideas for their photos!

I take no credit for the "African" maternity theme, thank you "M" for the inspiration and permission for me to post these.

Being a photographer means that you are privileged, as you get to spend some pretty special moments with people. I feel as if I have some how travelled down a path with Sophia and her "extended" family. They were my first family shoot, three and a half years ago, I photographed her wedding, her sisters' engagement shoot and was recently fortunate enough to photograph Sophia's little bump! sophia01.jpg
