I am going to do this post write-up in a different way than usual.
Angie's & Keith's wedding invite was worded so aptly in describing the venue for their day, I thought I would copy just that to introduce the special moments captured in time:
"In a secret garden not too far away.
Two special people, one special day.
When asked the question they'll say "I do"
They'd like this moment shared with you"

I am not really fond of many Photoshop black & white conversions, although, there are the very few exceptions - this being one of them, a b&w action called Vanilla and created by Dror.

From elegant and sophisticated table centrepieces, to fun and quirky cake-toppers - every couple puts their own special touch to their wedding.
Ursula and I had an absolute ball photographing Gabi's & Llewelyn's wedding at The Cradle.
The day was a whirlwind of energy, right from the start.
There was such a great vibe and so much love and emotion, dancing and excitement. It was one of those weddings I wish I didn't have to leave!
Oh! And did I mention we had "THE BEST groomsmen in the world?" ;-)

Seriously, Andrea, at some point I want to stop gushing, but I don't know how you get such beautiful pictures every time!

Your work is inspirational to us all! I loved reading through the article and taking a glimpse into your life. Keep up the great work!
(09.18.09 @ 05:19 PM)Well Done Andrea!! Loved the interview
(09.21.09 @ 08:34 AM)Two unexpected visits to the Doctors rooms for two different midgets - and on two different days - my week is now out of sync by two days. I will try my utmost to post what I had planned to, but with the rest of the week being rather packed I am not at all sure.
I will leave you with this pic from Catherine's & Shaun's wedding which I am loving.
I love the two frames, how Catherine is framed in the one half and the hands & train framed in the other half.

The groomsmen cleaned up good 'n proper, the weather was just perfect, the couple was gorgeous and up for anything - not to mention, their friends and family were fantastic.
Plus, take in an Irish mom, throw in three energetic little girls, mix in some hairspray, clips and make-up, add an over-worked (and very patient) father of the bride, along with an animated make-up artist and you have a taste of what it was like photographing Shannon . . . simply getting ready.
The creatives were equally as scatty, with Shannon and Paul braving a vicious beast by the name of Rambo during their shoot, jumping into hay stacks and, quite honestly, just being themselves - when they could.
It is so amazing to be able to share a day like this, during which the ceremony was the only part I could possibly use the words: calm and serene.
Thank you, Shannon and Paul - we had a CRACK!

I must say it does look relatively quiet in this picture.

Picture above taken by Ursula.
Beautiful and worth the wait! I love the sunset one. I must say they all seem really serene and lovely :-)
